It's fast stable and little different to me than the previous one. Udev and Hal are the 2 most obvious differences and they do improve things considerably.

I'm hoping to try Slack 12 pretty soon. Well, Slackintosh 12 - the only spare computer I have is an ageing iMac G5!

I'd ask how you're finding the new version, but there's not much point - all you're going to tell me is that it's fast, stable and better than the previous one, in true Slack spirit :D

Fixed now - thanks Windy

Hari - my upgrade broke which is why I went to Kubuntu. I'd put in a load of work and then decided it would be easier to await 12.....

So many changes between 11 and 12. I broke the upgrade and didn't bother reinstalling.

I love playing with Slackware when I'm bored, but do all my productive work in Debian. :p
