Wordpress 2.3
Again with the updates. Wordpress is now at 2.3 (if you’ve been looking at your dashboard you’ll already know this). There are a number of changes, many of which are all in the background.
Tag support is now a default, the system tells you if a newer version of one of your plugins is out of date and upgradeable and there are lots of other wonderful changes.
Some of the new options won’t matter so much here - I’m not a big tagger per se and so I won’t be enabling tag clouds. The site map generator I was using doesn’t appear to work it does now - if you have the blank screen issue add this line: @ini_set(”memory_limit”,”16M”); to wp-config.php and other plugins are also broken. Most of the stuff works - if you see anything that needs fixing, let me know.

I tried out Wordpress once, I settled with TextPattern and been happy ever since. ;)

Seems as if Firefox on XP displays the Categories and the whole sidebar below the comments when viewing an individual post or entry. :P
