These so called chosen ones seem to be able to do whatever they want and get blessed at the same time. The same kind of thinking is still evident in Israel's actions today. The host also thinks it's a good idea to offer his daughter or the dude's concubine (why he thought the dude would agree to this is beyond me), but in the end they gave the concubine to the mob and they proceeded to gang rape her all night. By morning she was back at the door. The holy dude sees her and literally says "Get up, it's time to go". But the concubine is dead. And he just shrugged it off.
